DMT Spotlight: Mason
Digital Media Team’s newest arrival is Mason, who joins us as part of his apprenticeship from the Juice Academy. Apart from making everyone else in the office feel old, Mason has been involved in a lot during his first week, and we’re excited to see how he’ll progress during his 18 months with the team!
What attracted you to the company?
I was attracted to the company through the Juice Academy. I participated in their boot camp and chose Digital Media Team because I got a good first impression about the company’s work and the environment in the office from Ben.
What kind of challenges do you face in your role?
The challenges I face are mainly not being able to carry out my ideas practically. I don’t have much experience with Photoshop, but everyone has always been really helpful if I’ve ever got stuck.
The best bit about my role is the fact that all the tasks I’m being given allow me to be creative while learning new skills at the same time.
If you were a social media platform, which one would you be and why?
If I was a social media platform I would be Instagram because I am able to do pretty much anything any other social media platform can do while having my own personal characteristics as well.
Finally, what advice would you give to anyone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
I would definitely advise anyone looking to get into digital marketing to apply for the Juice Academy. I’m very happy with the course I am on there and have had a really positive first week in my workplace.
Thanks Mason, we’ll catch up with you regularly to find out how you’re getting on!
