How To Showcase Your Business’ Services On Facebook

Adding a services tab to your business’ Facebook page is a handy way to give users a quick snapshot into the products or services you can offer. In this guide we’ll show you how to get a services tab set up, and how to promote these services going forward.

Adding the Services Tab

Facebook services tab

By default your services tab won’t be showing, so you’ll have to add it to the page. When looking at your page, visit the ‘settings’ menu, and then open up the ‘edit page’ section. Scroll to the bottom, then click ‘add a tab’. Find the services tab, then click on the ‘add tab’ button and then click close. Go back to your page and click on the newly added services tab!

Facebook Service
Click on ‘add a service’ to get started, then fill out the form that pops up.

Photo: Add a photo related to your service. Ensure it’s a small, square image.

Service name: Enter the name of your service.

Price: Enter the price of your service – this is optional.

Description: Give a short summary of the service, up to 200 characters.

Duration: Enter the duration, if this applies to your service.

Click save when you’re done.

Services

Repeat the process as needed – but note that only three of your services can show on your page at once. You can re-order the services as you wish them to be displayed by dragging and dropping them into the desired order.

How to Raise Awareness of your Services

Service icons

You can now tag your services when posting photos onto your page. It’s a cute feature that will display your services under the photo post, with a handy ‘see more’ button sending users directly to your shop. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Create a post for your page.
  2. Click on the ‘tag a product’ icon when creating your post.
  3. Start typing the name of the service you wish to tag.
  4. Click ‘done tagging’ when finished.

It’s that simple!
