5 Altrincham Businesses with Great Social Media
Social media management for Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Instagram.
The market town of Altrincham is a thriving hub for small businesses, and many of these businesses are working wonders on social media. Social media has become an essential tool for businesses of all sizes, allowing them to interact with potential and existing customers, raise brand awareness and humanise their brand.
We’ve found five Altrincham businesses who have great social media pages. In this article we will take a look at why their social media is so effective, and how it is benefitting their business. Let’s go!
1. The Pet Retreat Grooming Salon
Luxury grooming salon The Pet Retreat has branches in Bowdon, Holmes Chapel and Knutsford, and their social media is best in show (sorry…). Their Facebook page has generated over 700 page likes and 43 five-star reviews, and regularly-updated content helps bring in that all-important engagement. By posting images and videos of their furry clients and tagging in their owners, their content gets pushed out to dog-lovers and their friends. With a response rate of under one hour, it’s clear the team aren’t just sat around yapping either…
2. The Con Club
Alty Con Club sits in a unique space in what used to be the Working Men’s Conservative Club, and has now reopened as an all-day eating and drinking venue with its own micro-brewery. The restaurant – and its produce – is very easy on the eye, and the social team produce some brilliant content across their social media channels. We’re particularly fond of their Instagram – we could spend all day browsing their eye-catching images! With almost 9,000 check-ins on Facebook, it’s clear that they’re pushing social media to those who walk through their doors.
3. Altrincham Market
Arguably the best thing about Altrincham, Altrincham Market has made a name for itself with its delicious food and focus on independent traders. They are also a whizz on social media, and have grown a fiercely loyal following across the big three platforms. With 16.5k followers on Twitter, 19.6k followers on Instagram and 17.8k followers on Facebook, they can push their mouthwatering content out to a wide audience. With regular updates about their traders and events and regular retweets, they generate impressive engagement with each and every post.
Cute little gift shop IDAHO is a gem in Altrincham town centre, and its lovely homeware and trinkets appeal to users across their social channels. Each of their social platforms perfectly exemplifies the store’s independent nature, and high-res imagery showcases their quaint products and generates user interest. Their Instagram account is leading the way in terms of followers, with an audience of almost 2,000, and when you take a look at their on-brand imagery, it’s clear to see why. As the store doesn’t (currently) have an online web store, customer service is vital, and it’s evident to see that owner Amy Bartlett is getting it right, as IDAHO’s Facebook response rate is just a matter of minutes.
5. John Hilditch & Co
John Hilditch is a small independent estate agent specialising in the sale of residential homes in Hale, Altrincham, Bowdon and the surrounding areas. With many high-end properties on their books, a key focus for the agent is posting images of their stunning properties to their Facebook page. By mixing property posts as image galleries with local news, they appeal to a local audience of homeowners and potential buyers. Social media is crucial for estate agents, and they tend to see great success thanks to the high shareability of property posts.
