DMT Spotlight: Matt

We’ve got another new starter as 2018 continues to be a huge year for Digital Media Team. This week we’re welcoming Matt (another one!), who is joining the paid social team. We caught up with Matt to find out more about his role and what attracted him to the company. 


Can you tell us a bit about your position at DMT?

Its my role to manage clients digital ads, making sure all the ads are awesome but more importantly that they reach the target audience and are optimised for maximum return.

What attracted you to the company?

The people. Everyone here is friendly, funny and welcoming, I felt part of the family within the first week of working here. On top of that everyone are experts in their fields so I learn something new everyday.

What kind of challenges do you face in your role? 

Occasionally we get an underperforming ad, however its not long until the issue is resolved and we’re making money for the client again.

What’s the best bit about your role? 

Making clients a huge return on their ad spend no matter the industry! It’s great to see huge variety of clients from beauty salons to international car brands make money through digital advising.

What’s been your favourite project to work on so far?

Working with one of our large fashion brand clients, doing a variety of ads for them across all platforms has shown me how powerful digital advertising can be.

If you were a social media platform, which one would you be and why? 

Hard question, I would have to say Instagram. To the point, easy to get used to, girls love me and Facebook should pay $1 Billion for me…

Finally, what advice would you give to anyone wanting to follow in your footsteps? 

Chase your passion. Dream big. Enjoy the ride.
