It’s time for our next employee spotlight! Today we’re chatting to Josh, our project manager as well as owner of Bailey our office dog! Josh has already been with us a couple of months, but he’s finally taken time out of his busy schedule to let us know about his time so far at dmt. Grab a brew, and let’s read on ☕️
Tell us about your role at DMT.
I am a Project Manager at DMT and work as part of the Operations Team. I basically have to make sure that the various teams at DMT are working efficiently, and work on developing internal processes. I am also the clients’ first port of call, keeping them updated and happy throughout their journey.
What attracted you to the company?
I previously worked in-house for a large company and felt at times like I was just another number. I had always been interested to see what working life would be like at an agency, and after having a conversation with Matt and Ben about the company, I was completely sold! I’ve gone from being a number in a crowd to feeling like part of a close team that can truly affect change.
Tell us something special you think you bring to the role of Project Manager.
Possibly the cutest dog in existence! Wednesdays are Bailey Days!
What kind of challenges do you face in your role as Project Manager?
It has been difficult trying to grasp other areas of the business to a level where I can discuss them with clients. My previous role didn’t require as much knowledge in these areas, so it’s been a great opportunity to up-skill and something I’m increasingly becoming more confident with!
What has been the highlight of your experience so far?
It’s been great to see clients develop! Seeing them go from the initial deal and being signed, us guiding them through the process, to them being a satisfied customer with fully running accounts that are performing strongly.
If you were a social media platform, what would you be and why?
Wasn’t sure with this one… But according to the Buzzfeed quiz I just took, Instagram it is! I think that is pretty accurate… I do love having a good nosey to see where my next drink/meal out is going to be.
Where do you think the best cup of coffee in Northern Quarter is from?
Foundation Coffee! Iced Caramel Latte you drain my bank account but you are amazing!
Bringing Bailey to the office is probably *the* most important thing anybody does in our company.
