Established in 1885, Edwards Grounds are one of the most recognizable and well-respected estate agents in the north of Cheshire.

Their branches in Runcorn, Culcheth, Widnes, Warrington, Woolston and Westbrook provide customer-focused sales and letting services, built on the mantra “we are not happy, until you are happy.”

The Challenge

Despite being a well-known local business, Edwards Grounds were yet to make a splash on social media.

Their Runcorn branch page was struggling with seventeen likes, fresh content was infrequent and a personal Edwards Grounds profile confused customers looking to connect with the company.

Were a customer to approach Edwards Grounds via Facebook, it was unlikely they would have received a response.

Our Solution

A page makeover was our top priority. With revised imagery that followed Facebook’s guidelines, Edwards Grounds Runcorn became easy to recognise and looked professional.

Adding a call to action button and updating their contact information simplified the contact process for customers looking to book a valuation or enquire about listed properties.

With a professional page in place, it was time to focus on their audience. Our page like campaign centred on their store front, a familiar site for local residents. This audience building campaign, targeted at nearby homeowners, put Edwards Grounds directly in front of the market they were aiming to attract.

Posting regular content kept our growing audience engaged. To make full use of our high levels of engagement, we ran a number of competitions to organically publicise the page. People began commenting about the great service provided by Edwards Grounds and started to leave positive reviews on the page.

As the page grew, we turned our attention to bringing in business. We began by posting new properties onto the page in the form of photo albums. Short descriptions of each property added appeal and drew hundreds of clicks, likes and comments. Each post pointed to the simple call to action button, sending customers straight through to the branch team.

Lead generation campaigns also encouraged homeowners to book a free valuation with Edwards Grounds, getting hold of a number of warm leads for their sales team to follow up on.

The Result

Today, the Edwards Grounds Runcorn page serves as a thriving community hub, with people getting in touch to ask if their event or local news can be posted on the page. Page likes and engagement levels are now organically growing, our ultimate goal in terms of page growth. After ten months of management, here are our results.
