The Client

JGA Recruitment is a UK-wide recruitment agency, specialising in payroll, HR and reward. As members of REC, their focus and ability to understand the needs of professionals in these sectors sets them apart from other agencies. They strive to impress their clients with an efficient, time-sensitive and cost-effective recruitment experience.

The Challenge

When we took over the JGA Recruitment page, they had just 450 likes and were struggling to get engagement without using paid methods. The content was quite disjointed, with the client using various different third party apps to source their daily posts. 

The client stated the desire to grow their audience, keep a consistent content style and promote selected vacancies. They wanted their audience to reflect the nationwide element of their business. 

Our Solution

Upon taking over the JGA Recruitment Facebook page, we made amends to the profile and cover images, introducing the client’s new branding. A clean cover photo stating the areas the client works within replaced an outdated stock-type image.

Once the page was refreshed, we began posting relevant content. We posted content that would be useful to jobseekers, which suited the client’s wishes and helped turn the page into a handy resource for potential candidates. 

In order to grow the audience, we ran a page like competition. We targeted a UK-wide audience of people who have shown interest in job sites, along with graduates and jobseekers. By giving away a £100 voucher eligible at various popular nationwide restaurants, we provided universal appeal whilst keeping our targeting narrowed at the right demographic.

The competition was a huge success, bringing in over 1000 likes. Following this success we will then turn to page growth adverts to carry on increasing the audience.

When it came to advertising jobs, we opted to use ‘send message’ campaigns, as these have a dramatically lower CPA then lead generation adverts. We wanted to encourage people to contact the page, so that we could send the link to apply out to them via message.

The Result

  • Grew page likes by 240%.
  • Received 65 post likes on the first two job adverts we created.
  • Grew to page to be the largest payroll recruitment agency on Facebook.
