The Client

MissBardo is the sister company to long-running London-based fashion company Bardo. Due to ever-increasing customer demand, the Bardo team decided to invest in an exceptionally user-friendly online shopping boutique, to further uphold their outstanding reputation in ladies’ fashion.  

The client is fully committed to fulfilling the desires of their customers, and by always keeping profit margins low, they retain the best prices without compromising quality. 

The Challenge

The client had a well-established social presence before coming on board with Digital Media Team, with over 30k Instagram followers and just over 6,000 Facebook followers. They had a hold of their social content, but wanted assistance with their advertising. 

They wanted to boost their sales via social media advertising, helping them become a big player in the fast fashion industry. 

They wanted us to implement a paid social strategy to help drive site traffic, increase sales and boost revenue.

Our Solution

Upon starting to work with the client we optimised their Facebook and Instagram pages to ensure they were working to their best capacity. We also started to invite anyone who had engaged with MissBardo’s content to like the page, helping grow our audience with relevant, interested users. We then set up a page growth campaign on Facebook to further grow our audience.

We developed a four step sales funnel, with the ultimate goal of gaining and retaining customers. The first step was brand awareness. We promoted organic content to users who we believed were likely to be interested in the brand. 

We also ran cold-audience adverts encouraging them to visit the MissBardo Site. By using discount codes and flash sales we began to appeal to users, helping us to build an audience for retargeting.

We then ran dynamic product ads to retarget interested users with the products that they had been looking at. This type of advertising is highly lucrative, and we soon generated some fantastic results.

The Result

Our advertising strategy was an overwhelming success, and in the first month alone we had generated the following results: 

  • Doubled the client's return on ad spend
  • Increased the client's social following by 136%
  • Social ads now make up 30% of the client's total sales
