We took a trip to Facebook HQ!

Our dream team of Ben Young and Ben Appleton visited the fabled Facebook HQ last week during a trip to the big city. We caught up with them to find out how their day went and what they learnt as they visited the social media giant. Unfortunately, they didn’t get to meet the mighty Mark Zuckerberg, but nevertheless it sounds like it was a fun and eye-opening morning!

Hey. We wanted to gain recent social insights on Facebook’s performances, learn some advertising best practices from campaign optimisation through to creative type and find out what were the key learnings of 2018 to date. We also received an update on the latest Facebook products, tools and creative options that are now available/being rolled out in the UK for our clients.

We were given a recap on campaign best practices, creative tips and tricks, how to correctly measure success on Facebook and also a fun Instagram Story School.

What were your thoughts of Facebook HQ?

It’s mint! We love the central London location, the high tech office, and also the people are great and the games room had everything you could imagine! What else would you want from an office!?

What are your predictions for the future of Facebook?

The tech giant has had exponential growth since its start and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon. With constant development and the world’s best mind powering, I predict FB will be around for years to come. We saw an insight of what’s to come for advertisers and users and I’m very excited to see it come to fruition.

Why is Facebook a good choice for businesses wishing to promote their services?

It’s a great way for businesses to engage with their customers and grow their brand across the world. Facebook has over 1.2 billion monthly, active users, and Instagram has more than 700 million monthly active users. The ad platform allows you to do detailed marketing to target users that will be interested in your product or service, boosting conversions and growing brand awareness . It’s a marketers dream and should be utilised by every company who can benefit from a social media presence.
