With more and more of our clients joining our email marketing service (have we told you we’re partners with Klaviyo?), we felt it was high time that our team expanded to include a dedicated Email Marketing Manager. Enter Jamie! He’s our first of many 2021 hires, and we’re excited to get to know him in this week’s Employee Spotlight!
The Work Stuff 💼
Tell us a little bit about your role as Email Marketing Manager.
I manage our clients’ email marketing strategies, working closely with the design and content teams to ensure our clients are receiving bespoke, varied, and impactful mailers. We want to add value to their consumers’ brand experience, by receiving newsletters, exclusive discounts, etc. I also oversee that clients’ Email KPIs, such as open rates and conversion rates, are strong, as well as managing Lists and Segments.
A lot of jargon, but basically it means that we want our clients’ customers to only get the most relevant emails dropped in their inbox.
Tell us about your background. What led you to this career/industry?
I come from a B2B, service-orientated background. It was certainly my degree in Marketing and Digital Communications that led me to this industry.
What is something unique that you think you bring to the role?

What’s something you want your colleagues to know about you?

Music! I’ve gigged across most of the North West and I intend to continue after the pandemic. I’m missing the Saturday nights playing in music bars a great deal.

I relate the most to Twitter, especially when it comes to threads of highly detailed rants/tangents about otherwise completely random subjects.
