The Work Stuff 📈
Tell us about your background. What led you to DMT?
I originally studied IT Management for Business at Northumbria University in Newcastle, which led me to getting an entry-level paid social role in 2020. Then, an opportunity to move to Manchester and work at DMT presented itself a couple of months ago, and I jumped at the chance!
What is something unique that you think you bring to the role?
I have a lot of experience in running LinkedIn ad campaigns from my previous role. I think using LinkedIn ads is quite rare from an E-Comm perspective, but the transferable skills I’ve picked up will come in handy.
What’s something you want your colleagues to know about you?
I suffer quite badly from colour blindness, so I’ll take a hard pass on any questions involving colour!

What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Optimistic, Relaxed, Reliable.
What’s your favourite cultural moment of this past year and why?
The Will Smith slap at the Oscars was probably one of the best head losses I’ve ever seen, and it delivered some unbelievable memes.
What’s your hobby or passion project outside of work?
Football has always been my real passion. Regardless of the standard, I could watch/talk football every minute of the day and be content.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I’d have to say Justin Bieber’s music. He never misses.

Give us your best Manchester bar recommendation.
I’ve only lived in Manchester for a few weeks, so there are still loads of places I haven’t tried. But I’ve enjoyed going to Mackie Mayor and Wolf At The Door!
If you were a social media platform, which one would you be and why?
It would have to be Twitter. It’s a lot more unfiltered than other platforms, and I think it’s easier to feel connected to the people you follow.
Who would be your five dream dinner party guests, dead or alive?
Jamie Foxx, Jose Mourinho, Louis Theroux, Eddie Hearn, Barack Obama.
