The Work Stuff 📈
Tell us about your background. What led you to DMT?
I studied history and politics at university and always thought I'd have a very corporate career, but after a brief stint at a law firm I decided it wasn’t for me and I was going to get more into writing. So I got a job at a publisher in media agency sales as a way in, but it led me to the world of print and digital advertising. I decided I actually prefer working in a creative environment and loved meeting and speaking to people all of the time - and I decided it would be a lot less pressure than being a political correspondent..although that could be disputed!
What is something unique that you think you bring to the role?
All of my media experience has come from the publishing world so being on the flip side at the agency it’s interesting to learn, but also apply my knowledge to e-commerce brands in the UK as I've worked with global household names.
What’s something you want your colleagues to know about you?
I love anything pop-culture related, going out and all things love of huns so i’m always up for a night out, or food, so we can all live, laugh, love together <3
The Personal Stuff 👨💻
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Confident, extra, and no-filter (two words sorry)
What’s your favourite cultural moment of this past year and why?
Definitely Kanye’s instagram outbursts declaring his absolute love and adoration for Kim. Toxic? Yes but I can’t help feel there’s something quite endearing about him.
What’s your hobby or passion project outside of work?
I have recently started to play golf as I realised that I actually needed a hobby. But I am a massive history fanatic, namely Russian. I love reading Russian literature, watching Russian opera & ballet, and educating myself on anything revolutionary.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Trashy Wedding TV Shows - Don’t Tell The Bride, MAFS, Love is Blind, honestly anything where a couple get married and it goes horrifically wrong or end up madly in love.
What causes are you supportive of, and why?
It goes without saying, but what is happening in Ukraine at the moment is truly awful for anybody to go through so I think as their European neighbours we should all concentrate our efforts on sending as much assistance and aid as possible. This goes for all refugees and victims of war. The migrant crisis is something that we do not deal with half as adequately as we could and should, and I think much more needs to be done in Britain to support those fleeing war in the middle east.

I really love The Blues Kitchen at the moment! I love places with live music, especially Jazz.
If you were a social media platform, which one would you be and why?
Probably Reddit as I get very addicted to trivial things and love discussing them in obsessive detail until it borders on unhealthy.
Who would be your five dream dinner party guests, dead or alive?
Lenin, Mick Jagger, Michael Collins, Grace Jones, Cher
What are you watching?
I actually don't own a TV at the moment as I've recently moved, but the last thing I watched was the Kanye West documentary on Netflix and I was hooked.
