Employee Spotlight: Regan

Can you tell us a bit about your position at DMT?

I’m a junior graphic designer. My role is to design ads that the client’s audience will love for the paid social guys to distribute across social platforms, as well as any other design related projects that come along!

What attracted you to the company?

I was attracted to the company because I saw the quality of clients DMT were working with, and I really felt that I wanted to learn and be a part of such a fast-growing company!

What kind of challenges do you face in your role?

Pushing a clients idea to the maximum is something I challenge myself within every task. I try to be as creative as possible to wow the client and hopefully exceed their expectations.

What’s the best bit about your role?

The best bit about my role is designing itself! I’ve always had a passion for graphic design, even since my very early school days. I’ve known this is what I’ve wanted to do pretty much.

What’s been your favourite project to work on so far?

My favourite project so far would have to be a mash-up video I created for Morphsuits. The videos of all the types of suits were great to use and turned out looking really good!

If you were a social media platform, which one would you be and why?

I’m a visual person and I love travelling, so I would 100% be Instagram!

Finally, what advice would you give to anyone wanting to follow in your footsteps?

The advice I would give is to spend time working on personal projects. Work out where your passion lies within design and then figure out how you can get the most out of it!
