It goes without saying that our graphic design team are some of the hardest working people we know, and their most recent projects (which we proudly boast about on Instagram) show just how amazing their work turns out to be. With our client base growing week on week, it was time to take on another new graphic designer. Let’s take a few to get to know Elliott!
The Work Stuff 📈
Tell us a little bit about your role on the graphic design team here at DMT.
As a junior graphic designer, I make our clients’ campaigns come to life by making them visually engaging and on-brand in order for them to be used across different social media platforms.
What about your background – what led you to this career/industry?
So I graduated back in May after studying Graphic Art and Design at Leeds. After a summer of working freelance, I decided to make the change and kickstart my career in the industry. I am very happy I made that change!
What is something unique that you think you bring to the role?
Every creative has a different approach, style and strengths (amongst other things). I like to think bringing my own version of creativity to the mixing pot adds a new edge and perspective to the tasks we have.
What’s something you want your colleagues to know about you?
The order is: oat, coconut, almond, rice, soya. NEVER cows milk. I’m not vegan, I just can’t drink milk.
The Personal Stuff 👨💻
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Whimsical, creative, and funny.
What’s your favourite cultural moment of this past year and why?
Zoom Quizzes got annoying, but it was a great chance to have drinks and a laugh with people who you don’t see on the reg because of where they live now. Groups that you’d have to plan months in advance to see usually became suddenly more accessible.
What’s your hobby or passion project outside of work?
I’m an all-round creative person, so love getting involved with anything creative. I draw portraits, objects, things, which is more of a relaxing experience than anything.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Sushi – tastes amazing but fishing is bad.
What causes are you supportive of, and why?
Bullying is bad in ALL forms. Just let people be what they want to be, and do what they want to do. It doesn’t affect you.

I used to love going to Twenty Twenty Two’s, but at the moment I’m enjoying Terrace as it has a lovely outside area.
If you were a social media platform, which one would you be and why?
Probably Instagram – I love taking photos.
Who would be your five dream dinner party guests, dead or alive?
Bob Mortimer, David Hockney, Kevin Parker, Keith Haring, Bert Kreischer. All preferably Alive!
