Tilstone House was an exclusive-use wedding venue nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Combining the grandeur of a stately home with the intimate air of a country residence, Tilstone was a luxurious residence with a rich history. The timeless property was used as a stage to create something truly spectacular, from luxury weddings and private parties to corporate events.
Digital Media Team worked closely with the Tilstone team, providing paid social, social media management and content marketing. Sadly, a fire ripped through the venue in early 2020 due to an electrical fault. This led to the end of our successful partnership.
Tilstone House approached us as a new wedding venue, looking to increase their number of viewings and increase their online presence. They wanted to become more widely known and wanted to showcase their breath-taking venue to encourage newly-engaged couples to host their wedding day at their exclusive-use venue.
They also wanted to highlight that their venue was multi-use and could also be booked for corporate events such as award ceremonies, team building days, sales meetings & networking events. We decided that a combination of paid social, social media management and content marketing via Tilstone’s online blog was the best course of action.
Taking hold of Tilstone’s social media has been a huge success, and we have had a very strong start. By targeting newlyweds in the surrounding areas of the venue, we had fully booked out the venue for the following summer within our first three months alone. This included eight showarounds being booked in just three days, which was an unprecedented amount of business for the venue.
With an average wedding price of £36k, we drastically exceeded any ROAS expectations. We also increased the total number of likes and comments on the Instagram page by an average of 140%, and post engagements on the Facebook page increased by 26%.
