Despite the rise of TikTok for Business, Instagram still reigns supreme when it comes to social media for fashion. With gorgeous visuals and easy-to-shop feeds, it’s no wonder our Insta addictions continue to grow (hands up who’s scared to check their screentime ✋)

As of October 2020, 33% percent of the global Instagram audience were aged between 25 and 34 years, making the platform particularly attractive for sales-hungry marketers. Sure, TikTok might be a fun way to waste a half hour, but we’re still all dreaming of nailing our aesthetics and emulating our fave inst-fluencers.

We’ve got to admit, we’re purists, and the updates to the platform this past quarter have led to a confusing user experience (we’re looking at you, Reels), but there’s no denying the platform’s continued success, with the figures speaking for themselves – ad spend is 23% higher on Instagram than Facebook, due to sheer rise of Stories.

If, like us, you’re a sucker for a cute AF feed to scroll through, take a look through our list of five Instagram fashion brands who have risen to the top in 2020. Apologies to your bank balances but hey, Black Friday discounts are coming, just saying 👀

@AJVOYAGE – 89.3k followers

Ohhhh we just love boots. Edgy AND ethical, AJ Voyage’s selection of vegan footwear is given life on their gorge feed, which has us weak at the knees as we continue to rock all black everything. Maximising the use of micro-influencers whilst running a fantastic omni-channel marketing strategy, the marketers behind this brand are getting it right. Don’t blame us if you make a purchase after clicking through to this one (you deserve it, girl).

@SocieteNOIR – 53.2k followers

From Manchester (via Paris) with love. SocieteNOIR’s feed makes us want to stick on a brand new twinset and hop in the Range. This premium streetwear brand has been growing steadily, amassing a loyal following thanks to smart hip hop collabs. Making great use of their Insta Shop, SocieteNOIR’s digital presence is as fresh as their threads.

@KULTKID – 34.1k followers

Kid’s clothing but make it fashion. Unapologetically boujee, KultKid are making waves in the junior apparel world. Honestly, some of these kids are dressing better than we are. Their range of premium kid’s streetwear has been recognised by the likes of OK! Magazine, The Daily Mail and Vogue, no less. Big things ahead, for sure. Oh, and we REALLY want a KultKid face mask – so cute.

@theconceptclub – 28.6k followers

Inclusive and exclusive, The Concept Club’s range of concept football shirts are Insta-ready and aspirational AF. Collaborating with the likes of NASA and Japenese brand Kanji, TCC bring soccer to the streets. Mixing flatlays, shoot photography and user-generated content, this is a stand-out Instagram feed that’s been delighting fashion and football fans alike. Unsurprisingly they’ve been recognised by Nike, popping up for a one-off customisation event at London’s Niketown. Now please excuse us while we buy ourselves a Christmas present.

We’ll take one of each
